Lots to love in Lewis' room - a crib in the middle of the room, a fun and meaningful photo print and pops of orange, just to name a few. Amy tells us more: This room is for our third baby - we have two little girls so getting ready for baby boy has been so much fun!
We live in a 100-year-old Craftsman bungalow. The biggest obstacle we dealt with was placing the furniture in the room and really utilizing the space. It's pretty small (about 9'x10') but we also lost one wall completely because of the two closets and the space around them so they could open. We decided on placing the crib in center of the room and i couldn't be happier about it! The flow of the room is wonderful and i have everything i need within an arms reach :)
The rug is the artists' rug from Anthropologie and it is the first thing I purchased for the room. The colors and shape were perfect to work around.
My favorite thing in the room is the huge (40"x29") poster of my Grandpa with his siblings. It feels so much more personal and special then just a few purchased prints.

Very interesting to put the crib in the centre of the room! It actually seems like a really great solution for a baby because they don't need an open floor space for play yet.
where is the crib bumper from? AMAZING!
Great room! Love that orange chair! Where did you find that adorable, little pillow with the "L" on it?
thanks for the comments on the room :) sorry it has taken me so long to respond, i just got home from the hospital with my new little bundle yesterday!
silverpen- the bumper pads were made by mom using ikea fabric and a jute trim from the ties and an orange piping from joanns... i love them :)
sswartz- i actually made the pillow using fabric from ikea and a rope trim purchased from joanns... so easy!
