Kathleen in You've Got Mail thinks daisies are the friendliest flower and they sure are at home in this friendly, cheerful room. Thalita tells us more: Lilla's room was my former studio. We had a tight budget and little space.
So, we tried to re-use some of the furniture that was already there. The walls too, were already a bright yellow with some drawings...I just added more drawings for fun! The hard part decorating this room was that here in Brazil we don't have closets, so a big part of the room is always taken over by armoires. As it was already a small room, we tried hard to keep a nice space for her to play and grow.
I really love the final result: it's sunny, happy, and not too babyish!!
Thanks Thalita and Lilla! (You can read more about Thalita and Lilla in English and Spanish at Thalita Dol.)

Many kisses from Brazil!
Where did you get that great crib? It's simple and beautiful...
In a store called Etna Móveis.
It was so hard to find a simple and sturdy crib around here...
(I wish we had Ikea in Brazil!)
great room, I love the wall and that adorable baby peeking out of the crib.
also, is that one of the original rainbow brite characters I spy on the shelf? I wish I still had mine for my daughter. the new ones really aren't the same!
Yes, it is! It was mine!
That's the violet one, I still have Rainbow Brite, the Green one, the Pink baby one and the white horse. I don't remember their names, though.

I guess it's already been said, but while the room is darling and the mural stunning, seeing that beautiful baby peepeing out of her crib melted my heart. Gorgeous!
I don't mean to be picky but it's Portuguese, not Spanish.
Love this!
I don't usually love yellow, but this yellow is just so delightful. What a great spot for your beautiful wee one!
Ahhhh!Lilla is so cute! She's like an adorable little elf, with her own little, animated forest. I love this nursery, because it looks like she'll be able to grow into it within the first few years without having to do too many changes.
Great room, the kids wall decals are are fantastic..
They are not wall decals, I painted the walls myself. =)
Nice room, love the yellow and good to see another Brazilian in the featured nurseries.
Hey Ohdeedoh folks, the blog is in English and Portuguese, not Spanish!
