My Room: Lincoln

Central Florida

We love diverse alphabet collections and this one amassed by Heidi is one of our favorites. She tells us more and lists plenty of resources for Lincoln's fun, fowl-themed room: I saw a nursery online right after I found out I was pregnant that had an "ABC" wall. I loved it and knew I wanted to do something similar if we were having a boy. I then came across an Owls by DwellStudio set and that was my 2nd piece of inspiration.

It's such a tiny room that I was nervous to make it too busy. I wanted it to be bold, but not overwhelming. We were also on a budget so I had to get creative! The dresser was purchased from a flea market and we did a major overhaul on it. The curtains and some of the art are homemade. We did this room for around $1,100 total. Here are all the details on where things were purchased and our budget breakdown:

Paint colors: Walls - Winter’s Day (Olympic Low VOC); Dresser - Swiss Chocolate (Valspar)
