Three-year-old Merrick's new room is terrific and it's especially nice to see how his mom Heather transitioned his former nursery: We wanted to transition Merrick's room into something that could grow with him! He loves robots and my husband loves all things space so it was a natural fit.

I wanted to keep it clean and simple in his room but also not go overboard on the price as I can get carried away when it comes to my boys! I fell in love with the Land of Nod Robot bedding so that was our starting point. I loved the brightness of the orange and it contrasted well against the blue of his walls. I of course got lost in Etsy wonderland when looking for all things robot. I bought robot wall decals from Etsy and then painted canvas panels to apply onto instead of placing directly on the wall. We got the solar system wall decals from etsy also and my husband hid some constellations of stars into the mix...can you find the Big Dipper or Cassiopeia?

Sources:
Ikea: Malm dresser and bed, Expedit bookshelf, kids lamp and star nightlight, Lack table we turned Lego table with rolling storage underneath
Etsy: Robot decals for canvas panels (Signs By CJ), Solar System decals for the wall (Decal Farm), R is for Robot print (Finny and Zook)
Land of Nod: Robot sheets
Walmart: Comforter (only place I could find with bright orange and it's SO soft, perfect & inexpensive!)
Fleece blanket picked up by my MIL at a fabric store.
