A little bit of history and a lot of pink! Jacki tells us about her daughter's lively room: Miss Moo Moo's bed is almost the same as one I used to sleep in at my Nana's farmhouse. That bed was sold when I was 14 years old, so when I saw this one, I just had to have it. Miss Moo Moo wasn't even born yet!
It is made of Silky Oak and matches the bedside locker that was from my Nana's house. Everything else in this room has just happened. A collection of fabrics and things I love. Some of the dolls, stuffed toys and pictures were mine. Some things have been made by me. There are many trinkets collected from overseas, either by myself or by my mum. There is also a picture on the wall that was drawn by my mother when she was pregnant with me. If it's pink and girly, it has found it's way into Miss Moo Moo's bedroom. So while I haven't actually 'decorated' her room, as such, it is filled with things given or made with love, and really suits her personality.
Me: "What is the favourite part of your bedroom?"
Miss Moo Moo: "I love all of the beautiful things that you put in here. The butterflies, my shoes, everything is just beautiful Mum, it love it all."
You've got to be happy with that. Her own special place were the fairies come to sleep in her hair.
Thanks Jacki! Readers, you can find Jacki and Miss Moo Moo at Monkee Moo Moo.

Shaw's Original Fir...
Beautiful Jacki! When I first saw the main photo, I suspected it was a Queensland room! Just gorgeous!

the little picture with the bunnies in the second picture - I had one when I was little - wherever did you find it?
lovely to see an Australian room here on AT - its rocks!
Somewhat unrelated but I was just struck by the title since my mom used to call my sister Missy Moo Moo when she was a kid (her name is Meredith). Just an odd nickname that stuck for many years.

I am sure all of my girls would love to do a sleep over here........lucky for you we live in North Carolina ( however we do visit my parents/sisters in NZ).........
