Wow, such a magical room put together by Cadence for her son Shane! She designed the wall decals, photo display and illustrated blocks. She writes: My inspiration came from the amazing lamp shade by Tord Boontje which hanging in the center of the room. This room used to be our guest room with a queen size bed which I kept minus the box spring and the frame so we can snug up in the bed to read and play together. The theme of this room is Whimsical Fantasy Land....I wanted to create fun, dreamy, amusing, flamboyant and virbrant room with a modern twist. I hope to build many more fun and precious memories with my kids here.

The lamp, the monkey bedding, the colors -- all so fresh and fun. I really love it all, but my favorite part is probably the photo foursome. What a cool way to display his baby photos!

Melissah, I drew the art works in illustrator program and sent it out to a local printer to make them to decals. It's really easy process. All you have to do is position them on to a wall, peel the back side, rub the art works on the wall and remove the front paper. It's a cool way to personalize your room.
Any chance you want to sell those decals? They're gorgeous, and I love the blue/orange combo. It's grown-up enough and doesn't scream baby. The blocks on the wall are very clever, too.

I love blue/orange combos! That's what I have in my "adult" room, along with white and gun barrel gray. I absolutely love this room! Fantastic Job!
