Noah's room is a great example of incorporating retro/vintage items while still having a modern vibe. His mom Casey writes: I wanted Noah's room to flow with the rest of our home, so the overall style I would say is vintage, with a touch of modern. The room isn't based on "blue for boys"...I like many colors, so everything is colorful!
I was inspired by a vintage image of some shelves and these crates with casters.

So, where did you find the shelves? Are they vintage? I love them and the room is wonderful.
I love this! So simple for a younger baby and the style can definitely grow with him. I think babies really thrive with less around if you know what I mean.

What a wonderful room! I also saw those fabulous crate storage units from the same post, and worked them into my daughters room for storage. I love the bookshelf too. So cute.

i love this room! it's very simple yet warm. the prints above the crib are great, and the room itself (floor, windows) is awesome.
Great job...very minimal but practical and warm. I'd love to see what you have stashed away in drawers and closets. It seems like you have plenty of storage and so don't need to have too much showing. Nice combination of old and new.

manchmai: the dresser has diaper items and clothes, and the closet is roomy, so there is plenty of storage there!
elizarock: we just got new windows in our home before noah came! they are "casement" windows... they crank open! and the paint color is navajo white, by behr.
