This post is brought to you by the letter "R". Niki tells us about her twins' charming room: This is our nursery for our six-month-old boy/girl twins. The design for our whole nursery started with the watercolor painting of Nantucket. From there everything just sort of evolved.
The two pictures above the glider are from my nursery when I was a little girl. Over the summer my mom dumped a bunch of memory boxes on us because she was tired of storing them. I was going through the boxes and found these pictures. Ironically they are of a little boy and a little girl. Each was matted and framed in colors that perfectly matched the room I had planned. It was kind of eerie, but simply perfect.
My favorite part of the room is probably the series of R's above the cribs. My sister helped me paint and decorate them while I was pregnant. Not only are they super fun, but I have a lot of great memories surrounding their creation.

Great room! it's obvious you put a lot of love into it. I really like the blue/grey wall color.
The is so sweet and lovely. Cute and sophisticated at the same time, great job!
Really, really, really cute. We are seeing a display of lovely nurseries as of late, I love that !
beautiful! :)
i really like those curtains. are they handmade? or did you pick them up somewhere?
What a beautiful and soothing room. I especially love all of the R's!
Very sweet room. I have a Ryan (my husband) and a Rhys (my son), too. ;)
@ashdav - they are the cameron cotton drapes from PB, I sewed 2" grosgrain ribbon on the edge, pinch pleated them and added curtain hooks so they'd look more custom. It was a TON cheaper than having custom drapes made.
I love this room. It's very tranquil.
This is such a gorgeous room... Just love all the R's...
What a fabulous room, great taste! I bet your babies love it :)
