Sawyer's soothing, cool blue room is the perfect backdrop for some bright pops of color. Trisha shares: When I was found out I was having a boy I started the search for decor and was having a hard time finding bedding and decor. I am not a cutesy/theme person. So I decided to have Sawyer's bedding custom made out of fabrics I chose.
I chose a light aqua for the walls (Benjamin Moore - Spring Sky). I love the color combination of the room - not typical of something you see in a nursery.
The crib and dresser are from Land of Nod and are perfectly gender neutral so they can be of use for future babies. The upholstered rocker is from JC Penney and was a great deal. I love the piping detail. I handmade the pillow and window valances with some leftover fabric. They were super cheap additions to the space. The wall decals are both from Etsy and the prints are from Art.com framed at our local Michaels.
I absolutely love spending time in this room with our little guy.
The room is clean and modern and will transition well into toddlerhood.

What color blue is on the walls? :) I picked up something very similar, but haven't tried it out yet. Great bedding!

Love this color combo...bright and cheery yet classy and sophisticated
That bedding is beautiful. You might think about doing some crib ensembles as a side gig.
Where did you have the linens custom made? Was it online? I want to do the same thing but I'm having trouble finding affordable options.
Lisa - The bedding was made from an Etsy seamstress. Her name is Jonna and her blog is www.fingersandtoes08.blogspot.com. There is a link to her Etsy site on there. She did a great job.
Bleachedrukia - The wall color is Spring Sky from Benjamin Moore.
