A boy named Soul can't have a generic room so Tasha set out to make and repurpose as much as she could. She shares: Being a committed believer in hand-made, I knew I wanted to piece together our first born son's nursery myself. It was certainly the happiest 'craft project' of my life - creating this space for our beautiful boy, Soul. I wanted it to be colorful, unexpected in a few places, and not fully age specific.
Everything (with the exception of the furniture) was hand made by me, inherited and repurposed, or purchased from Etsy. The inspirational jump-off point was this blanket I found on Etsy. The colors created my perfect palette.

Curtains & Pillow Covers: This Little Home on Etsy
Flashcards: Charley Harper flash cards (I cut strips of burlap and hung them with clips & thumb tacks) from Anthropologie
Woodstock Framed Poster: ORIGINAL. My husband inherited it from his aunt, and being a couple who deeply loves music we were excited to incorporate this into the room.
Solar Framed Poster: Was my husband's poster - since we loved the colors & style, we re-purposed for the nursery.
Crib: Wal-Mart
Dresser: Bob's Discount Furniture
Rocker/Recliner: La-Z-Boy
Art wall: With exception of the recycled magazine mirror (Marshalls), I made everything.
Sheets: Amazon (with so many colors in the room, we are able to have multiple crib sheets in different bright hues - its fun to change it up!)
