This sophisticated and sweet space will grow and grow with Tess, especially the memorable, modern mural. Kimberly describes: We wanted to do something unique and special for Tess' room - we really wanted to create a room that was creative but at the same time relaxing and comfortable. We chose to have the focal point be a hand painted mural of what we envisioned would be a modern sleeping beauty thorn bush.

Our colors where a greyish purple, off-white with yellow accents. We painted the mural ourselves and I created the bird collages from old flashcards. The sparrow crib was the splurge but we found it online new but 1/2 price because it was an open box. The rest of the furniture we picked up at Ikea since we were very budget conscious. Tess is now 17-months-old and we are expecting baby #2 and so excited about doing another nursery since we had so much fun with this one.
