I'm consistently astounded by the ingenuity and dedication of moms and dads who put together brilliant parties for their kids. We love this Nancy Drew party for its unique theme and the absurdly fun mystery that the party guests got to experience.
Kendra at My Insanity threw this party for her daughter's 7th birthday. At the sleepover party, the girls put together their own "sleuthing" kits in the evening, and in the morning a special package arrived from Nancy Drew herself. A note explained that the birthday girl had inherited her Great Aunt's fortune, which set off a fantastic hunt for the will and clues to the location of the fortune.
With secret messages revealed with blacklight and a friend's timely vacant house, Kendra managed to put together a birthday that her daughter will, we expect, remember for a lifetime.

I love these parties but what I genuinely love is how generous everyone is with sharing ideas (so it makes it far easier on the next parent using that idea!).
