Q: I need help tracking down an artist. For years, I've been obsessed with this watercolor. I found it somewhere on the internet, saved the photo for my own personal enjoyment, and managed to not mark down the artist's name...

Now that I'm about to launch into my first real design project, I'd love to be able to purchase a print of this piece. In addition, I feel horribly guilty about not giving credit to the artist whenever I show this to friends. I know this isn't technically a "design problem" (although I'd love to know how your readers might frame this piece!), where else am I going to find such a savvy, stylish, well-cultured group of people? Flattery will get you everywhere. My deepest thanks. Lauren

The artist's name is Sarah Ishii. I was in a show with her in Dallas! Wow, small world, huh?
marion bolognesi, according to tineye.

Wow, thank you all! I knew Apartment Therapy wouldn't fail me. Now I'll just have to see if I can make my first real grown-up art purchase. Again, my thanks.
I'm glad you found the artist! This is a beautiful piece--definitely one of my new favorites. :)
Wow - I'm sorry. The work looked so similar to that of Sarah Ishii's. If you do a google image search, you'll know what I mean. Glad others helped to pin down the correct artist and good luck with the purchase!
