Name: Julie
Location: Close-in, East Side
City: Portland, Oregon
My Home: 410 sq. ft. historic studio condo in the Belmont area of South East Portland
The Belmont area is pretty awesome. It's very walkable. There are many grocery stores, farmer's markets, food co-ops, urban farming stores, vintage clothing and furniture shops, parks, independent movie theaters and oodles of cafes, restaurants, food carts, and bicycles. I love to utilize the Multnomah County Library, and that's also nearby.

hey neighbor! I'm also in the belmont area, we moved into our spot three months ago next door to pine state biscuits and love it. there's nothing like waking up to the sounds of dishes clanking. the belmont area is great and the new food carts that have opened up on 42nd and belmont is something to check out too!
I used to live on Belmont and loved it. I'm just north about a mile now, so I'm not far, but don't get down there as much as I'd like. If you check out the food carts on 42nd and Belmont, visit Movie Madness, a great rental shop right next to them.
i love pine state and movie madness.
you guys should come to the meetup next week. it's at my place on belmont on the 21st.
You guys are making me so nostalgic! Portland is the best city in the world!
