Last December, we stopped by the DWR holiday craft fair. We met lots of kind folks, saw many interesting goodies and spotted the fantastically imaginative 3-dimensional plywood flowers and insects from Namoo House. We were intrigued...
We didn't have time to chat but snatched a business card with a mental note to email for more information.
Several months later we got an update. Joyce Hsu, of Namoo House, has been a wee-bit busy. The flowers that we spotted back in December were merely the prototypes for a larger, permanent installation commissioned by the San Francisco Arts Commission.
If you happen to be over at the San Francisco International Airport, stop by gate A3 in Terminal A for an in-person visit. Unfortunately the installation is behind the security gate...we're seriously considering booking a ticket and calling it a "museum day".
For more information or to purchase one of the prototypes check here. The prototypes are individually crafted and range in price from $100-$150. images: Joyce Hsu from Namoo House
