Nansulate Coatings claim effective insulation, corrosion resistance, mold resistance and led encapsulation all in an easy-to-apply paint like product. Too good to be true? Nansulate has been around since 2004 and since then has been featured on a couple of lists including: Builder News Best Product 2008, Energy Efficiency Qualified Remodeler 100 Best Products 2008 While there are a few articles out there on the Web, most seem like copies of Nansulate's press releases. I am intrigued by this Youtube video, however, that shows the heat transmission difference between Nansulate coated material and uncoated. If the claims are true, this could be a great insulation product for older homes without insulation. Does anyone have any firsthand experience with Nansulate? Thanks for the tip, Matt S!
