- What do you love about your bedroom?:
- So much! It's huge, so it feels like a big airy space where you can breathe. There is tons of wall space, as well, so I have lots of flexibility on how to design and decorate... similarly, the size of the room allows for a *huge* 17-foot long closet where I can organize all of my things. The thing I like MOST, however, are the original architectural details of my room, some of which are over 100 years old... from original doorknob on my door to the stained-glass window of a chickadee that sings over my doorway onto a small breakfast balcony... I mean, could you ask for anything more?
- What are your tips for creating a beautiful, healthy and organized bedroom?
- I'm a big fan of keeping your bedroom an uncluttered haven. Keep things on display that are simple and calming, but still feel like they boldly represent you, and that remind you of happy places or things.
- In modern homes, bedrooms have become more than just a place to sleep; they can be a retreat, a home office, a library, a relaxation zone. What are some ways you make the most of your bedroom?
- Other than sleeping, I use my bedroom to play with my dog Molly for long periods of time... she loves rolling around on the bed. Also, my huge closet and mirrored wall make for a great place to try on and plan outfits. I try to keep my work out of the bedroom to keep it a bit of a safe place away from any stress.

I love this room. Very cool and modern. Simple and clean. I am not voting for you because we are in the same category but nonetheless, GREAT JOB!! Love the art etc.
Like the artwork over the bed and the b/w clock
Love your room. Toronto is great. Voting for you...
Natalie, I LOVED your house tour, and I go back and look at it fairly often. Your place rules!
Feel free to post more pics of that precious little boston bug. Great room, too!
I really like this
I was on board until I saw the antlers and hide. But I am envious that you have a door in your bedroom to the outside...that's always a plus in my book.
@LyonStill
The antlers are probably shed naturally. They aren't mounted to the wall or anything and the shape of the end looks like they were shed rather than cut.
I agree with the rug, tho. Doesn't fit IMO (and those rugs never do), but I voted for her anyway! Beautiful windows! Reminds me of my old bedroom at King and Bathurst :)
I love Toronto, I love your dog, and I love the windows!
Beautiful room!
The windows are amazing. Very well pulled-together room. Is there more than one wall color here, or is that just the light? Looks grey in most pics but kind of mocha in the second to last pic.
OK, for Christmas I want a breakfast balcony.
This room is so cozy and just a little bit quirky (not too much), so I voted for it. The half an eyeglasses pillow seems to evoke a sense of loneliness, but I like that. Then again, maybe I'm seeing too much meaning in it.
Very nice room.
I feel the accent pillows cheapens it a bit.
Step 'em up!
I can't tell from so far away, but the throw pillow next to the glasses one...are those horses? Cause if so I totally have the exact same pillow on my couch! I found it at TJ Maxx a few months ago and it's super high quality compared to the throw pillows they usually have.
the clock is gorgeous!
