We have to admit that whenever we see a Saarinen-style tulip table, it always catches our eye. This IKEA version lives in the Vancouver, B.C., home of Susie Wall, entertainment reporter for CTV's eTalk. We took a look to see if the rest of her home lived up to this awesome breakfast nook.

And it does live up, at least the living room, above. 20' ceilings, window wall, white painted fireplace — check, check, check. The rest of her home is done in a far more traditional style, and we couldn't quite see how they integrated.

I was looking at that Ikea Docksta for quite a while, and just the other day the Costa Mesa location had two in the "as-is" section for $30...in perfect condition. $30 dollars!!!! Needless to say, I snagged that sucker up as quick as I could.
I too have the Docksta but am glad I don't have the 'For Like Ever' poster. It was cute in Domino but man! It's soooo played out now.
i love ikea "as is"...............oh and the lovely living room.
I'm looking for the "very personal" style mentioned in the text. Not seeing it.
Ikea "as is" section is always hit or miss, but I recently got a docksta table on CraigsList for $75 in perfect condition. Now I just need to find the perfect chair...I'm thinking of the Urban at Ikea.
this is nice but i much preferred the feature "Rainbow Connection" on the two women with India-inspired homes. (Of course.) It was a real pleasure and gave me some great ideas for my walls.
