Need A High Chair? Make Your Own!

Ana White

Once you get past how adorable Ana White's daughter Grace is in that tutu, take a look at that pink high chair. It's reminiscent of restaurant highchairs and could be this weekend's diy project.

This high chair might appear deceptively simple, but we promise you it's just an afternoon worth of work. It's made from 5 whole boards which you can even have the hardware store cut for you if you're not into all that measuring or cutting.

The piece is then screwed together with comfort built right in. The seat is shorter to allow for chubby legs and there's room at the front for toes to slide under the bottom rung. You can finish it with paint and primer or seal it with a natural tung oil if you're looking for a more green alternative. Check out the full tutorial (or send it to the handyman in your family as an early hint at Christmas presents!) over at Ana White!
