The majestic gardens at Versailles, created in 1661 for Louis XIV, have long been maintained, yet absent of anything new. That changes in the fall: the new Water Theater grove, a long-dormant bosquet that once was an outdoor stage, has been reimagined by French landscape designer Louis Benech and artist Jean-Michel Othoniel.
