Designer Patrick Chirico lives and breathes Brooklyn. He gets inspiration all around him from the architecture, bridges, people, fashion, style, and culture of his beloved neighborhood as soon as he steps out his front door.
Patrick's urban immersion sparked the idea to create pillows that people could use to build urban street scenes at home for their couches, chairs or beds. Each pillow is purchased individually to allow you to customize the feel of your hood. Start with a brownstone building perhaps and then add a grocery store, stop sign or phone booth and mailbox along the way.
He is currently working on adding more NYC buildings as well as releasing pillow sets for San Francisco and Philadelphia. You can purchase Build Your Block Pillows from their website or at Design Public.
