I finally started! Last night I cleaned off all of my surfaces and got rid of all those little things that silt up on my counter and desk. I also shifted around my furniture and put out a few things on the "free spot" in my building. I still have a whole list of things that I need to do, but at least I did that little one...

Way to go, Mary! I'll bet you feel so much better having cleaned surfaces. (I keep hearing Jennifer Saunders in my head doing this "minimalism phase" bit from AbFab: "Surfaces, sweetie! Where are my surfaces?")

I get to report also! I decluttered my entire desk last night, including the five heaping baskets of cluttery junk - now back down to the regulation four. I got a half a bag of trash/things to shred out of it all! It feels so much better to sit at a clean desk (not that I would know at this moment, where my work desk is heaped with paper).

Still have to declutter the three huge baskets on my shelving system...

Erm...and by half a bag of trash, I mean a big black trash bag, not a dinky kitchen catcher. :)
