Netflix Origami

Do you have busy hands? Do you wonder what to do with all the flaps from the Netflix (or if you're in Canada, Zip) envelopes that arrive in your home every month? If you answered yes to both these questions, have you tried your busy hands at Netflix origami?

The website Netflix Origami provides step-by-step instructions for making origami standbys such as swans, frogs and cubes. You can also make little sacks, boxes, trays, and envelopes that, in addition to being surprisingly cute, are even sort of functional.

There are probably only so many origami boxes and swans you want in your home, so if you're bothered by chucking the flaps in the garbage (apparently they're not recyclable in every area), we found this post at Skewbie that shows how to fold and tuck your used flap into your return envelope in order to return it to Netflix, where they do recycle all their envelopes.
