Thanks for sharing this new classified system.
This couldn't come at a better time! Hooray!
When you say "any city", do you mean you have to be affiliated with a larger one? Such as Chicago? A medium city/town such as Peoria, IL? Or can one be affiliated with a smaller area, such as Champaign, IL?
Will this just be for American cities or will you have Canadian ones as well?
Hurrah from Salt Lake City!
Is anyone else having trouble with a "you must use a valid email address" error? Is the beta closed?
APRIL D: I can view the site without issue. Maybe AT tech support can help?
Interesting!
Perfect timing as I'm selling things that don't fit in to or with my new apartment.
On the one hand, $750 a month gets me a two bedroom house with yard. On the other hand, I am nowhere near all the places that are selling beautiful pieces of furniture. Trade offs, I suppose. :)
The site looks great. Thanks, AT!
I hadn't heard of krrb.com until this post. It seems much like craigslist except that it's smaller, no?
I also had problems at first, the krrb site wouldn't accept my hotmail address. so I typed in my yahoo address, got the green check mark, and then re-entered the Hotmail address. the green check stayed, and my registration went through. so maybe try entering alternate email addresses until you use one the site likes, then switch back to the one you want to use.
also, this is great. I will definitely be using it instead of eBay which I can hardly stand for anything other than used video games at christmastime.
Thanks for all your comments.
Yes, you can use these classifieds for ANY city in the world, and as long as enough posts or beautiful stuff amasses to that city we will pull it to the front page in our daily Scavenger.
As for all the technical glitches, please keep calling them out and we'll get on them.
Best, Maxwell
Kind of a bummer. I like craigslist posts because sellers don't always know what they have, or aren't really up on design, so you can find great items for more reasonable prices. Presumably, here, everyone will be pricing a lot higher.
I love the idea but.. I am pretty certain in my area I am the only one who reads this site, so it would probably be fruitless for me to post items for sale.
Maxwell,
This is great! The pages are clean and well executed. And furthermore, has the good name of AT and its fine users. Very clever. Happy to subscribe.
Best,
