The AJ Table Lamp was originally designed by Arne Jacobsen for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark. While lovely in the original colors of black, white or graphite grey, new colors have been released and we think they provide an entirely appropriate and gorgeous update to this modern classic.

The fiftieth-anniversary edition of the timeless lamp is available as a table lamp or floor lamp in petroleum, red, sand, yellow green, and blue green from Louis Poulsen. These aren't available for purchase yet in the US, but can be purchased from the Finnish Design Shop and shipped internationally. You may want to start saving and wait until it is for sale in the states as the desk lamp will set you back €625 and the floor lamp €710 (or about $980 and $1,115 respectively).
