There are plenty of new kids' bedding lines out there, like Skip Hop's new products and Unison's new kids' offerings. New Arrivals, Inc. has been around for a while, but they just introduced some beautiful new patterns. What sets them apart, though, are not only their colorful, modern designs, but the wide array of accessories in matching prints they offer.
The new items from the company include 8 new designs, including those pictured above (Periwinkle Bloom, Urban Zoo, and Sweet Violet crib sets). Each pattern, though, is available in different room accessories, from standard offerings (think curtains, cradle sets and changing pad covers) to more unique products (matching memo boards, barrette holders, or monogramed plaques). There are even fabrics by the yard in complementary patterns so you can design your own pieces.
The bedding sets are pricey, but they are all handmade and high quality.

I'm sad that crib bumpers are still so heavily marketed. I know they're attractive but it's not safe! Especially these thick, padded ones. http://www.cnn.com/2011/10/18/health/no-bumpers-cribs-sids-parenting/
With all of the safety regulations with cribs why aren't there regulations to limit to only breathable bumpers?
Ok, this seriously has the look of "me too" to it. How many identical modern elephants does it take, really? Is this a sponsored post?!
Also really over the bumpers being heavily marketed. The only company I've seen that has stepped up to the plate with an innovative AND SAFE approach is SkipHop with their new complete sheet sets.
Cute prints though. A bit overdone, yes, but then I went with owls/foxes for my LO's room :)
I was just going to comment about how disappointed I am that the crib bumpers are always the cutest part of the decor. But I see others beat me to it. Thanks!
The new skip hop sets are very cool. I wish even one other manufacturer could think outside the boring, boring box.
Wow, I am glad to see others agree with me and the crib bumper issue. I mentioned something on here the other day in regards to a room in which they had crib bumpers on the babies crib and many people didn't take so well to my comment, they said I was overreacting to the safety issue with bumpers. I guess I don't take baby safety lightly! Glad to see others agree. I'll choose safety over decor any day!
What is this bumper issue you speak of?
I kid, I kid. Me, and EVERY OTHER OHDEEDOH READER know about the bumper issue already! It slaps us in the face every time we come on this blog! I think readers of THIS particular blog are well aware of the concerns with bumpers, heavily marketed or not. That is, even if they are being marketed, we know better. What I'm more surprised about is that there are people who think this is a new topic on this blog and feel the need to bring it up (complete with intelligence-insulting links to articles!). Again.
Wow, I'm sorry to have insulted your intelligence. I didn't realize a link could do that. I don't know if ALL of the readers of THIS particular blog are well aware, some of the room tours still have cribs with bumpers in them. Nonetheless I was commenting on how disappointing it is to see bumpers continue to be heavily marketed. It'd be nice to see these smaller shops go the ethical route and just stop marketing them.
AmyofMI - I totally agree with you! I mentioned the crib bumpers issue in another post and was attacked as well and all I was trying to do is make people aware (especially the home owner of the post who had bumpers in her babies crib) without insulting anyone. I was not insulted by your link at all and I agree that bumpers shouldn't be marketed at all anymore. Many states are just starting to ban the making of crib bumpers which is a great idea for those who don't know the risks of having these in a babies crib.
Who would have thought that such snarky comments would come from raising the awareness of an unsafe baby item?! Shame on us!!
Give it a rest Ohdeedoh... please stop flogging bumpers.
