Romantic and strange, Sarah Cihat's new porcelain wares have added unexpected embellishments in brass and copper.
Cihat's "rehabilitated" dishware has gotten a lot of attention and praise, and this twist in design with the new porcelain line adds a whole new version of intrigue. The bowls and vases show off a richer look than the stenciled silhouettes of her dishware, but still read as playful in their own way:

these would NEVER pass the harsh judgement of a 'true minimalist' but i think there is just something about them that really rocks my world. besides, i could never describe my tastes as 'minimal'. i'm much better at the "more is MORE" aesthetic.
I hate these. They're funking up classic pieces.
And by FUNKING, I don't mean the GOOD kind.
Looks like s&m porcelain. Not Cute.
