New Green Mag: Positively Green

New Green Mag: Positively Green

We're always on the lookout for "green issues" and new green magazines, so we were surprised when we noticed Positively Green last night at our local drugstore.

Where had this new green magazine -- with Rachelle Carson-Begley (Ed Begley Jr's wife) on the cover -- come from?

We picked it up, skimmed a few pages, paid for our ice cream, and made a mental note to check out the Positively Green web site .... which is exactly what we did this morning.

Apparently, we'd never seen Positively Green before because it's a relative newcomer to newsstands -- this is only its second issue.

Spending a little time on the web site we saw articles explaining carbon offsets, suggesting green DIY Halloween costumes, and suggesting recycling solutions for a small kitchen.

Upon first estimation, we'd definitely file Positively Green under "light green," which is fine. But we'll be interested to see if/how this magazine sets itself apart from other greenie mags like Plenty, and the Green Guide.

Has anyone else seen Positively Green yet? Thoughts?
