We just came from the holidays and we are already planning our next vacation. This time we are thinking about a skiing trip maybe in a few weeks. As we start researching for new cool gadgets available for this kind of environment, we discovered some amazing advancements that are are huge technological leap from our last trip to lake Tahoe in 1986. Technology packed goggles. Let's see what they have now.

Transcend GPS Goggle
This goggle has a inside the visor mounted display with full GPS capability. The tiny LCD screen is inside the goggle, showing you real time stats, speed, altitude and even a vertical odometer. The chrono/stop watch is a nice added feature too. What we like, is the fact that you can use Google maps overlay function. 7 hours of run time, thanks to the lithium-ion battery. PC and Mac compatible.

Impact Series HD from Liquid Image
The Off-road goggle contains a 136 degree (full field of view) wide angle lens with video capture to record all the action while riding motocross, ATV, or downhill biking. We think that it's really amazing that you will end with a video of exactly your point of view. The hands free unit has a 12.0 MP interpolated (4000 x 3000) camera mode and a video mode that records HD 1080P video (1920x1080) at a rate up to 30 frames per second with audio and an additional High Action mode that features HD 720P video (1280x720) at 60 frames per second. The Impact Series HD1080P can hold a Micro SD/SDHC Card up to 32 GB. Product includes a 4GB Micro SDHC card. With the use of a micro SD/SDHC card, the camera is capable of recording thousands of photos or hours of HD video. USB connection is supported for easy to transfer files.
