Ever see a broken chair on the sidewalk and think — that's a shame. Well Canadian design team Chromoly thought — we can work with that.
The series titled New & Improved takes broken wooden furniture and uses bronze to repair them. The result is one sturdy, tricked out chair.
The idea is that the weakest parts are now the strongest. Designers Jonathan Sabine and Adam Pickard are quoted as saying, "If you're going to change something, why not make it better?"
Better indeed. No word on pricing yet or if the pieces are intended for sale or just for show.
