It hasn't even been a day since the new iPod Nano became updated with a video camera, pedometer, and an FM tuner. Now iFixit has posted a complete teardown on this new iPod, to show you exactly what goes on inside the new Nano.

iFixit Gadget Teardowns are really fun because they can tell you what goes inside your favorite gadgets. A lot of people were expecting the iPod Touch to get a camera. People were surprised when only the Nano got a video camera. Some people were surprised by the added features, but they are understandable if you consider the fact that most people use the Nano to work out.

Ever since the Nano was introduced in 2005, we have been getting an update every single September. Most of use will never dare opening up our gadgets, but it's always tempting to do so. That's why it's so satisfying to see a complete teardown of a new gadget. Apple has clearly pegged the Nano as an alternative to the cheap video cameras that have been on the market for a few years. It's actually the same price as a Flip Mino. Sure, the Mino has got one-touch recording, but that isn't much of a difference. On the new Nano, you need to start an app to start recording. For the price, Apple has made the Nano very appealing to everyone who's bought a Mino or who wants a simple device to record some video.
