Who knew that they had Marimekko bedding, towels, shower curtains, etc... even loads of fabric (@ $8/yard!) at Crate & Barrel outlet?!?! I just went yesterday and got some pretty yellow floral and green floral washcloths, and also instead of buying fabric- they didn't have the green grass-like fabric I like- I bought the pillow sham for $10 (!) cut it up and framed it like I wanted to do with the fabric. It looks awesome! I was pretty proud of myself and my great deal:)

I saw that one and LOVED it. Am definitely considering it for my new home- I've been looking for new bedding for awhile. I'd been wanting something with more color, but may have to reconsider . . .

i dunno, i'm not a big fan of this print. something about it feels very heavy-handed. and it's not the brown color, i like that part.

tiffany -- i recently made some curtains from marimekko shower curtains i got at crate & barrel. worked really well -- just halved each curtain (my windows are not very large) and ran one seam down each panel to finish.

thanks for the compliments. i was going to make them from marimekko fabric, but only saw it going for $35/yd., so i thought this was a more economical solution. if i would've known that the outlet has fabric by the yard, i would've been there!

i will definitely check the outlet out soon anyway -- i haven't been to a c&b outlet since before they changed the one at halsted & north into a cb2.

at which outlets did you find the marimekko fabric by the yard?? I'm so excited!
