Nursery, living room, den, bedroom. This look is great and could go anywhere.
Yes!!! I'm so glad you posted this. :-) My husband and I are expecting a little one in August and we're pretty set on a nautical theme -- boy or girl. I've been compiling ideas on my Pinterest, but it's so great to see this as well. Love the not-too-cutesy blend of different textures and colors to create a great theme. Thanks!
These duvets from Ikea would work well with this theme if transitioning to a "big kid" room:

The Ikea Hack mirror from this old apartment therapy article would work nicely with this theme as well:

And if you'd like to go all out on the nautical theme; Elsie at ABeautifulMess, did a great tutorial on how to stamp/paint an accent wall. She used a stamp in the shape of an anchor.

Great finds! We recently did a similar post on funky nautical accents. http://www.oopsydaisy.com/2013/02/ocean-themed-kids-rooms-with-an-unexpected-twist/
Sometimes, you just want to do a theme room, but want to make it unique - which we totally love.
