Looking for sustainable fabrics for your own designs? Source 4 Style is the world's first online marketplace for designers to search and source sustainable textiles. Currently launched in beta and set to release to the public at the end of the month, the design portal hosts 25 suppliers and over 1,000 materials, including organic cottons, hand-woven silks, and reclaimed textiles, and allows you to search through the materials, connect with sustainable suppliers, calculate lead and ship times, and source swatches and yardage. It's a great resource for designers and interior decorators.
By the end of September, the site plans to have 35 suppliers and more sustainable textiles, like Recycled PET, Tencel and Tencel blends, organic cotton knits, and embellishments.
