Thanks to technology miniaturizing every single component with each days that goes by, it is becoming an easy task, to fit a tiny computer inside a pen. From transferring notes and audio to your main computer, to MP3 players, to downloading apps directly to the pen, these little devices are more powerful than what you may think.

Livescribe Echo Smart Pen
This incredible pen takes time stamped photos of your handwriting or drawings as you do them on the special microdot paper, and it can simultaneously record up to 800 hours of audio (great for students and journalists). Tap on any word you've written or illustration you've drawn and you'll hear the audio that was recorded the instant your were doing it. It has an infrared camera, 8Gb storage and Arm9 processor.

Connection to the computer is done thru a mini USB cable.

With the FLY Fusion Pentop Computer (from LeapFrog), everything you write on "FLY" Paper is automatically scanned and digitized. You can then upload it to your computer and convert to text. With the tap of your FLY Fusion Pentop Computer, you can interact with your notes, get instant feedback and step-by-step help, even play MP3s and games, all on paper! You can also download custom applications directly to your FLY Fusion Pentop Computer. Choose from a complete library of tools such as Algebra, French Translator Pro, Spanish Translator Pro, FastComp Math Pro, Writing and even more.
