almost as cool but way cheaper lamp for $50
I doubt a spotlight bulb like that will work very well in the FADO lamp. You would just get a circle of light at the top of the globe. You'd be better off with something more like this: http://www.amazon.com/Color-Changing-Remote-Standard-screw/dp/B00348FXKW/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&s=hi&qid=1264179504&sr=1-10
The remote is IR, though, so it might or might not work through frosted glass...
i didn't even think of that, thanks!
Any idea is these will be available in the States? The last generation never made it here.
surfacenoixz: These and the minis are available on Amazon right now.
OMG i have been waiting for these to come to the US forever. i'm so glad they are here. to modify surfacenoixz's question though, is there a date for the gen2 to be released in the US?
and what are the different models? do they just describe the pattern on the outside, or is the light in a different pattern, or what?
