There is something in the air this Fall — lots of new magazines are launching. In the past week alone, I've shared the links to both Standard and Rue, which are both being published online. But, this one is a bit different — in the everything old is new again way, it is the odd one out in the group since it is a PRINT publication, set to publish next month but accepting subscriptions and orders right now …

The magazine, Anthology, is a project helmed by some very talented women; Editor in Chief Anh-Minh Le (contributor to the SF Chronicle), Creative Director Meg Mateo Ilasco (most recently the author of Creative, Inc.) and Market Editor Joy D. Cho (of Oh Joy!). They are working with dozens of contributors, including Susie Nadler and Laure Joliet whose names may be familiar from their Apartment Therapy bylines.
Anthology will cover home decor, travel, design, entertaining and culture and the plan is to publish quarterly.
• Visit Anthology for more info (including a link to their 12 page digital preview), the opportunity to subscribe or order an issue and the details on their giveaway with West Elm.
Congratulations to the Anthology team on the upcoming launch!

Shaw's Original Fir...
Lonny announced yesterday that it will also be available in print. Looking forward to the return of real shelter magazines :)

where is that dresser from in first pic, AT? 2 drawers - w/ 2 cabinets?
Lonny in print!!!!!!!!!! I'm clearing space on my shelves RIGHT NOW.
Wondering if anyone knows where the chrome with white top desk in the first picture is from?
Not just one, but TWO new print magazines coming??? I think I'm hyperventilating.
So, after checking out the preview, I like the way Anthology looks a lot. As long as we're criticizing covers, though: This isn't really a criticism, as I *like* the cover, but it's reeeallly, reeeeally girly. Way to NOT get guys to pick it up on the newsstand and check it out.
Titled Anthology. Sorry, it's the only one I can't abide. In any case, after the untimely folding of Domino, I think we're entitled to a mag like Anthology. :)
how exciting! i was just complaining the other day how i'm being deprived of magazine time because my favorite shelter magazines are no more...
i need that wallpaper in my entry... LOVE!
I've already subscribed!! Can't wait!
Of the 3 -- Standard, Rue, and Anthology -- this by far looks the most promising.
