sweetchuck, great point. I've got two of the 2x4 Expedits laid horizontally with a big drafting table top on top as a fantastic standing worktable. It's fantastic.

OMG yes! that's just the perfect size as my side table/landing strip! I've been looking for various small boookshelves, but this will be so much better... will join two other small ones 2x4 (one serves as a dresser in bedroom, other as my dining room's buffet) and the big 5x5 :D I love this series!
Grrrr...no Ikea in my new state and the shipping for the expedit we want to use as a tv stand is almost three times the cost of the shelf. Why Ikea, why???
