For those of you who grabbed a pair of colorful KOTORI headphones last week, Sony's got the perfect PC complement for you. Introducing their new Sony VAIO E-Series, with the promise to outshine the competition with a rich high definition multimedia package with an attractive price tag.

The new VAIO E-Series features a rich 15.5-inch screen in 1080p resolution, full keyboard with number pad, an optional Blu-ray drive, face-tracking webcam, and HDMI-out port. As far as internals go, you get a dedicated ATI Mobility Radeon graphics with up to 512MB of video RAM, the option of either an Intel Core i3 or Core i5 CPU, and hard drives up to 500GB in size.

Like many other recently released VAIOs, there is a quick "WEB" option (for those who aren't patient enough to wait for the computer to completely start up) that launches an instant Web browser for immediately Internet gratification.

The new laptops start at $799 and will be available in other bright color options including: Caribbean Green, Iridescent Blue, Coconut White, Hibiscus Pink and Lava Black. Or, you can go with more muted options like: Maple Brown, Silver White and Gunmetal. Keyboard skins optional.
