I happened upon this amazing Green Walled building by chance a couple of weeks ago while visiting Samuel Johnson's house museum in London. I snapped some pics and resolved to find out more about it when I got home.
The building, it turns out, is one small part of a major redevelopment of the area and a joint venture between the architectural firm Bennetts Associates and landscape architects, Clarke Associates. Though it initially had a bumpy start (some of the plants died and had to be rearranged), a year after winning the prestigious Civic Trust Award, it definitely appeared to be thriving--even in chilly November! Pretty cool, huh?
