Artecnica continues on their path of greenness releasing more attractive lighting designs that are made from long-lasting and recyclable products that are easily shipped and transported — the majority of lighting is made of Tyvek and in addition to being flat-packed and completely recyclable is also extremely lightweight. New products are from designers Paula Arntzen and the trio Rich, Brilliant & Willing.
ARTECHNICA MUST SEES:
• Bright Side Lights by Rich, Brilliant & Willing — Cast glass pendants are durable, recyclable, and can be used as a hanging pendant lamp, or laid on their sides as a table lamp.
• Grand Trianon and Petit Trianon by Paula Arntzen — 2 new Tyvek pendants that ship flat-packed
• La Couronne by Paula Arntzen — a flat-packed lamp made with copper foil
• CMYKit — Cyan, magenta and yellow filters that fit the standard Artechnica lightbulb protector. They can be used alone or in groups to colorize much of the Artechnica lighting collection.

The trianon lamps look interesting. I like the material. But the shape looks droopy and sad. They also have an awkward seem in the middle.
The pink lotus blossom pendant is excellent (and good feng shui, too, on many levels). I think it's great when any company really does think about sustainability AND design.
I like the glass pendants, but am I the only one thinking that drilling a hole in an Ikea bowl would be any different?
