After Christmas, one of the least loved tasks is getting rid of the tree. Luckily for New Yorkers, Christmas Tree Brooklyn will do it for you, and do good for the environment and those in need in the process.

The Brooklyn-based company will remove any size tree, starting at $49 for ones six feet and under. While they're there, they'll also take any donations of clothes, canned goods, or gifts you'd like to part with and bring them to Covenant House, a shelter for teens in Manhattan. They did the same thing when delivering trees earlier this season.

The tree itself will be dropped at NYC's tree mulching program, where the trees will be turned into wood chips that will be used by Public Works.

You can schedule your tree removal on Christmas Tree Brooklyn's website.
