Steve Jobs finally responds today to the well-known fact that Apple hasn't ranked too well as a green company. It has consistently come in last as a Earth-friendly company on Greenpeace's Electronics Guide. What does it mean to be a "greener" Apple? Mostly this release touts what Apple has already done, such as eliminating toxic chemicals from their products, and apologizes for leaving consumers in the dark. He doesn't set out any finite plans for how Apple plans to become more green, but does promise to keep us in the loop in the future.
