Although this weekend's recall on children's medication doesn't have much to do with home decor, we thought the severity of the situation needed a little bit of exposure, especially in the middle of Spring's cold and allergy season.

There are big names involved in the recall, many of which you might already have in your house already. Details on the recall after the jump.

The Food and Drug Administration announced on Friday that they are issuing a recall on several medications for children. Companies are volunteering with the recall and making sure steps are taken to remove the product from stores, but we wanted to make sure you knew about things to ensure your own medicine cabinets at home are free from things unfit for your kids.

The reason for the recall is simple. In some drugs, there are extra amounts of active ingredients and in others there are inactive ingredients that haven't med FDA standards. On the list are children's Tylenol, Motrin, Zyrtec and Benadryl.
