Got a gadget you want to get rid of? The US Postal Service is launching a pilot program that will allow you to recycle small electronics and printer cartridges through the mail, for free.
The postage is paid by Clover Technologies, a leading company that is known for recycling cartridges and small electronics. The program will start in several cities, including Washington, DC, Chicago, LA, and San Diego. Free, postage-paid envelopes will be available in your local post office and when you've got something to recycle you simply drop it in the mail. It won't help you get rid of that old TV, but if you've got a camera, Blackberry, phone or ink cartridge you'd like to get rid of, this offers an easy solution.
