Need to recycle your TV? Sure, your conscience and the need to declutter your home may be enough motivation, but what about $100 to spend at Sony?
Sony is offering $100 to you for recycling your old television (Sony or otherwise), you just need to take or send it to your closest Waste Management facility. And in return, they'll give you a $100 credit to spend at the Sony store.
To learn more, check out Sony's website. Does anyone know of a similar reward recycling program from other manufacturers?

Upon further reading, it's not a $100 credit, it's a "save $100 on a new Sony BRAVIA HDTV" COUPON. I suppose this is good if you're looking to spend $700 on a television (which is the lowest price-point for one of these suckers) but that just seems a bit excessive to me. Now, if it were actually a $100 giftcard type deal, and it could be used on refurbished things, I'd maybe consider getting a "new" television.
any way you can use multiple coupons on one purchase of the bravia? i love those tvs, and i would recycle every tv i had to get $100 x # of tv's...
Under the FAQ, the answer is no. You can't recycle multiple TVs to get a bigger discount.
