Welcome to the next wave of design. Get ready to meet the American Design Club tomorrow, a loose association of young, talented designers that is based in New York City. In the house will be most of the founding members: Henry Julier, Kiel Mead and the trio from Rich, Brilliant & Willing — Theo Richardson, Charles Bril and Alexander Williams.
We're also going to continue doing what we started last month and cure one room a month with Group Apartment Therapy and provide time for lots of networking.

All About The American Design Club
"The American Design Club (AmDC), founded 2008, aims to bring together designers working under the American Flag. Currently there is a lack of representation of American designers, outside our borders, and a similar lack within. The AmDC seeks to heighten awareness for emerging designers, further promote a sense of community among one another, and to provide sales and exhibition opportunities. "
All About Rich, Brilliant & Willing
"Richardson (RICH), Brill (BRILLIANT), Williams (WILLING) is a Manhattan-based design studio and consultancy. RBW creates environments, furniture and product design where the work draws primarily from the reinvention of materials.
Rich Brilliant Willing was named among the "Top 40" emerging designers by I.D. magazine in January 2009, and named an Avant Guardian by Surface magazine in November of the same year. With recent press including major publications such as FRAME, Metropolis, and multiple appearances in The New York Times, Rich Brilliant Willing's involvement in the international design community continues to grow."
All About Henry Julier
"Currently I am freelancing for private clients and larger firms in New York City + developing my own designs under Henry Julier, Product + Furniture Design."
All About Kiel Mead
"After reading what Fredonia native Kiel Mead does for a living, you may never look at bubble gum or a drill bit the same again.
Kiel (pronounced as you would "Kyle") Mead is a Fredonia High School 2002 graduate. In the six years since, Mead has transcended from the Hillbillies' school art classes to an up-and-coming jewelry and furniture designer in New York City. At just 24, Mead is on the cusp of his professional career and earning his success one collection at a time..." [more]
