Shaw's Original Fir...
Did you see the prices? I must have stepped through the freaking looking glass....
I don't see the appeal here.
1) It's a MRSP $535 toilet paper holder. I doubt I'll spend $535 on toilet paper in my lifetime....
2) Form over function. With normal toilet paper holders mounted to my side, I pull across my lap, tear, and fold my strip appropriately. Quick, easy, and no chance of the toilet paper touching the ground. If this thing is mounted to my side, I'd have to pull parallel to the wall. My arms don't reach far enough to get me an appropriate length strip in one motion. So I would have to pull, bunch, pull, bunch, pull, and tear before being able to fold into something usable. And with the bunching, I'd probably have a crumply piece of toilet paper. Not cool. And if the bunched toilet paper fell out, it would touch the ground. Not cool either.
3) Did I mention that the toilet paper holder is $535?
Really A.T.?? This is so crazy aspirational, like having the top of the line $4000 Numi Kohler bidet toilet with speakers, LED lighting, automatic custom adjustments etc, and calling it the "best" toilet ever. Really?
In the immortal words of Josh Baskin..... I don't get it.
I LOVE IT! :) haters gonna hate though. I got news for you cats, people do spend this much on toilet paper holders!
