Names: Nick, Jane & Luca
Location: Chicago
Adding a new member to the family always has a big effect on the household - from changes in routines to rearranging furniture, it shakes things up and often results in positive changes. That what happened to Nick & Jane, who sent in a few photos.
They write: We have always lived in a very colorful space full of books, toys and wonder. Last year marked the arrival of our first child and with him, many changes to our lives. One of these changes was the way in which we organized our home. We wanted it to remain our space, yet keep it fun, safe and accessible for our little Luca. We think we've done just that!
Thanks, Nick & Jane!

i like this place a lot!! It looks FUN to live there without being too wacky or kid-oriented. :) Perfect! More pictures please!
Oooooh. Where is that stunning bedspread from?
I love that adorable mobile! Where is it from?
Very cute tour! I too would love more info on the bedspread.
I love it! My husband and I recently determined that we're about a year away from starting to try for our first, and our Chicago apartment is large but the bedroom is pretty small. I love seeing that someone else was successful at having a gorgeous bedroom with a spot for baby as well! I'm trying to figure out how we'll rearrange everything.
Love the kitchen and dining room. The colors, the cabinets... very nice.
That bedspread is from Urban Outfitters about 4 years ago... or at least that's when I got mine. I was happy to see it here, even though I haven't used mine in quite a while!
Thanks for the kind words!
Yes, the bedspread was from urban outfitters several years ago. The mobile we made ourselves. Sadly, we're not in that space anymore as we have moved to Virginia to be closer to our families. So our colorful home is sitting on the market in Chicago.
There are more photos here.
The kitchen is adorable! The orange and green paint, the moulding, the cabinetry. It's so charming and inviting.
This place is now for rent!
