Name: Nikky and Brian
Location: Williamsburg, Brooklyn
One year ago, Nikky and Brian Cronk moved to Williamsburg, drawn to the wonderful light and wide open floor plan in this 1000 sq ft. loft. With an open kitchen and spacious layout, their 9 foot antique farm table (a local Brooklyn find) provides the perfect setting for long and leisurely Sunday lunches, of which they are famous amongst friends.
With the arrival of new baby, Sefiagger, Nikky and Brian baby-proofed with ingenuity. Making the most of their thirteen foot ceilings, they moved everything up, even storing their bikes on pulleys that hang overhead. With a style influenced by the 60’s and 70’s, and dashes of humor abound, the couple have succeeded in making minimalism feel warm and inviting.

ahaha! Love the pillowcase.
I've always worried about bike pully systems - it seems like a cord could easily snap and then you have a bike plummeting down towards your small child.
I love the candy-colored rainbow goodness of those Eames molded chairs. Magically delicious.
I'd recommend boxing the books on the bottom shelves of any bookshelf, or replacing them with kid's books. Or really anything that you won't mind them taking down and chewing on in the neighborhood of 7 months old.
adorable! the farm table is a great find.
Ok, with more heart and desperation than I've ever had in one of my "where'd you get that" posts:
WHERE did that Good Dog painting come from??
Love the pop of color with the chairs, bikes and books! Sometimes less is just right!
Love the space...but...I am really not trying to be rude or snarky, but I am at a loss re: the child's name. Can anyone explain?
Lovely space. I can also spot several Australian touches - the pillowcases are from Third Drawer Down, and the book on the bed ('The Slap') is a great novel by Christos Tsiolkas.
not really my taste but I can appreciate the aesthetic...I was actually wondering the same question about the childs name...I would love an explanation!
Beautiful home, I love the bright white walls and ceilings. I am sure things will change and special items will be moved once children arrive and are in motion. Enjoy the charm of a more adult home for now, soon you will proudly display fingerpaint art, toys and stuffed animals in every room- and that is a wonderful thing!
love the farmhouse table especially with those chairs.
I love the colors. The brightness of the room will be great for a baby- especially with the random bursts of color!
I love the bike pulleys! Awesome!
Beautiful table, and I love how clean and bright your walls look. What color did you use to paint them?
I think this is a strange post for Ohdeedoh (it would be nice to see more of the nursery?), but I do love this place! Such great furniture and composition.
Am a bit confused about Sefiagger though? How is it pronounced?
Love the dining table!! Great find! I would prefer a little color on the walls but even so it's a great apartment!
Sefiagger is from Ethiopia and so is her name.
